at Noor Eye Hospital
Dr. Seyyed Hassan Hashemi, the founder of Noor Eye Hospital, was born in Fariman, Khorasan, in 1959. He completed his elementary school education in Fariman and his high school education at Ferdowsi high school in Mashhad. He entered Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1979. After completing his undergraduate education in medicine, he completed his ophthalmology specialty training at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1989 and began his professional career in 1989 with completing his residency in Khorasan. He completed his fellowship training in “Cornea and Anterior Segment” at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.
With his constant efforts and perseverance in science and gaining knowledge and experience, he succeeded in establishing Motahari Noor Eye Clinic in Tehran in 1993, to provide his compatriots with high-quality ophthalmic services.
Following successful scientific and therapeutic outcomes and high patient satisfaction scores of Motahari Noor Eye Clinic, with endless effort of Dr. Seyyed Hassan Hashemi and his colleagues, he succeeded in putting his idea in practice and establishing Noor Subspecialty Eye Hospital (the first private eye hospital in Iran) at Esfandiar Street in Tehran in 2007, to provide more facilities and ophthalmic services.
Establishing of Noor Eye Hospital, and then subspecialty eye clinics in separate buildings with unique and up-to-date devices, made his dream of providing a wider range of world-class ophthalmology services to Iranian patients and also other patients from anywhere in the world, come true.
