She is well versed with all the sophisticated techniques of external radiation as 3-DCRT, IMRT,IGRT,SRS brain, FSRS, SBRT lung, SBRT bone, SBRT liver etc. She is also specialised in intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy of cervix, endometrium, intraluminal brachytherapy of bronchus, esophagus and biliary tract and brachytherapy of head and neck and soft tissue sarcomas.
She has numerous national and international publications to her credit. She has chaired and presented lectures in various forums of repute. She has numerous articles published in various newspapers and magazines.
Her special areas of interest are brain tumors, breast cancer, pediatric tumors, brachytherapy and latest sophisticated techniques of radiation.
Her social responsibilities include cancer awareness and education, cancer early detection, cancer prevention, rehabilitation of cancer patients and motivation of cancer patients. She has conducted hundreds of school awareness programs to educate children about health hazards of tobacco, alcohol and unhealthy sexual practices. She is associated with Global cancer concern India (NGO) and also runs an annual event “AAS: Win cancer with a smile” to motivate patients to live life with cancer with dignity.
